We are Gemma and Andrew, husband and wife who, along with our young son, really enjoy eating out and sampling the fantastic choices of food, wine and beer available in Buxton’s bars, restaurants and cafes. We’re not pretentious nor are we connoisseurs. We just like to enjoy good food in a place that is clean, welcoming and where the staff are good at what they do.

Our reviews are completely independent, honest, impartial and based on our own experiences at each establishment. We do this in the hope that people who are visiting or residing in Buxton will enjoy reading our reviews and go and eat at the establishments we recommend. We see this as a great way to support local businesses whilst enjoying something that we are both passionate about – food and drink!
